IT Manager

We’re a dynamic fast growing advertising company with a national network of 220 DOOH screens through bars, cultural venues, busy thoroughfares, universities, and gyms. In addition to our small formats we also run several of Dublin most exciting and interesting large format roadside billboards. We started our network distributing posters and flyers for gigs and growing from there and we’ve been a part of the cultural fabric of Dublin for over 15 years.

 

About the Role:

 

We’re looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic person to join our team as IT manager. This is a key role maintaining our network and assisting with essential activities across the business. As IT manager you’ll be responsible for ensuring the robust consistent operating of our full network of large and small format screens. This is a dual function role incorporating both hardware & software. See below for more details.

 

 

Job description:

 

First is the hardware and the physical management of our network of 240 small format screens and 8 large format LED billboards nationwide. This involves ensuring the network is fully operational at all times and troubleshooting / problem solving when not both on and off-site. It requires constant maintenance and quick response time especially around live customer campaigns.

 

· Applicant must be comfortable with some or all of:

  • Flashing Firmware on Hardware devices

  • Digital Signage Media Players and associated Hardware.

  • Digital Signage Screens [Phillips, LG, Samsung]

  • Large Format Digital LED - Setup and Configuration.

  • Purchasing & Testing of New Hardware.

 

 

Secondly are the software elements which are two pronged.

 

1) CMS management

We use Xibo and Broadsign to run the content on our networks. Additional management software includes Teamviewer, Windows, Android, MS office and Airtable.

 

2) Programmatic & Data analytics

Additionally Micromedia have recently integrated Programmatic selling of our media which means anyone anywhere can buy our media at anytime. This requires an understanding of DSP & SSP’s – we use Placeexchange (DSP) aswell as Locomizer as our data providers. Ideally some knowledge on how to optimize our Data through data analytics would be ideal but not essential.

 

Key Requirements:

 

  • At least 3-4 years of experience

  • High level of attention to detail and a curious mind

  • Ability to work well alone as well as part of a team

  • Strong commercial sense, with an interest in the advertising industry

  • Interest in music, culture or the arts

  • Efficient work processes and ability to deliver within deadlines

  • Experience using Microsoft’s full suite of programs

  • Full driver’s license
